RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Information
We are looking for a Senior Appian Developer/Architect that will work closely with clients, product owners and stakeholders to design and implement software solutions that best meet business needs. This person will plan and lead complex Appian software development projects.
Key Job Functions
- Participate in analysis, design, and new development of Appian based applications.
- Create and maintain various applications built using the Appian Business Process Modeling frameworks.
- Build applications: interfaces, process flows, expressions, data types, sites, integrations, etc.
- Validate the solution against best design practices, work on quick prototyping to get client feedback to achieve desired outcome.
- Perform Appian specific performance tuning efforts to ensure design implemented scales well for business need.
- Skilled in Appian automation using FitNesse.
- Demo development efforts to Program team.
- Work closely with testers/QA teams and UI/UX team.
- Conduct peer reviews, unit testing, and code reviews.
- Build Appian plugins and Appian embedded interfaces.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum 6 years’ experience with Appian-SAIL, Java, Webservices, database, BPM, and Agile experience.
- Knowledge of Appian platform essentials and suite of capabilities to architect and implement complex features.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. CSS does not offer H-1B sponsorship for this position.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of records, forms, and reports using Appian's expression language.
- Ability to create a custom and focused user experience.
- Ability to build process models and executable workflows.
- Familiarity with software delivery methodologies such as agile/scrum.
- Fundamental knowledge of cloud-based technologies is a plus.
Pay Range $141,750 to $158,000
CSS’s pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law. CSS offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes a performance bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, PTO, and a broad range of other benefits.
