Job Summary:
The Guest Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk and restaurant to ensure a seamless guest experience, and supporting the front office team. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience: Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome, efficient check-in/check-out, and personalized service throughout their stay.
- Team Supervision: Lead, train, and support front desk associates, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
- Reservations & Room Assignments: Oversee reservation accuracy, room availability, and special requests to maximize occupancy and guest satisfaction.
- Problem Resolution: Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly, finding effective solutions to enhance the overall experience.
- Cash & Billing Management: Ensure accurate processing of payments, room charges, and financial transactions.
- Communication & Coordination: Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor front desk operations, suggest improvements, and assist in implementing new procedures as needed.
- Reporting & Compliance: Maintain shift reports, ensure compliance with hotel policies, and assist with administrative tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in front desk or hospitality supervision preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Attitude: Positive, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
