Warehouse Associate- 6 month assignment (with Temp-to-Perm conversion possible at end of assignment).
Workshift: 6:30 AM-3 PM (with a 30 min unpaid lunch break).
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling daily deliveries, pulling orders, assisting with will call, and unloading semi trucks. This role requires forklift capability, as well as a presentable appearance for customer interactions.
Sorting and Organizing Deliveries: Manage daily deliveries from the distribution center, sorting through and putting away products.
Order Fulfillment: Use a forklift to pull orders accurately and efficiently.
Customer Assistance: Assist at the will call counter, pulling orders and interacting with customers.
Truck Unloading: Help unload semi-trucks, particularly those carrying water heaters. Drive the forklift to move heaters onto pallets and secure them.
Qualifications:
Sit-down Forklift experience or willingness to learn.
Ability to handle physical tasks and lift heavy items.
Presentable appearance for customer-facing interactions.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional Information:
Experience with unloading and stacking heaters is a plus.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
