POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing comfort, safety and general supervision to residents by assisting them with activities of daily living, administering medications and tending to their individual care needs, while learning their unique preferences and personalities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and document completionReview eMAR each shift to ensure timely administration of medications and treatmentsReview incoming medication physician orders for accuracy. Update eMAR accordinglyPartner with residents to provide needed / requested assistance with activities of daily living as outlined in the residents' service plansAnswer resident call lights, as well as door and safety alarms promptlyObserve and report resident behavior and condition changes to Care Coordinator and Director of Resident CareOrder / re-order medications to ensure adequate supply is availableComplete daily charting, documentation, and reporting as requiredObtain resident weights and vitalsParticipate in training new employees as requestedClean and disinfect resident rooms, work areas and common spaces according to cleaning scheduleClean and disinfect spills and soiled areas as needed or directedAssist with meal set up and clean up as needed or requestedParticipate in or lead activities as planned by Life Enrichment. Assist and remind residents to participate in activitiesPromote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitorsRemain awake and alert while on shiftPerform any other duties as requested within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.

Education and Experience
High school diploma / GED is required.
Certificates and Licenses
Must have CPR / First Aid certification or obtain within thirty (30) days of hire.
