Overview
As a Lead Teacher, you are the heartbeat of our organization and your time will be spent in a supportive, team environment with resources to help you flourish and leaders who care about your success.
As a Lead Teacher you will be responsible for the supervision and management of the classroom in accordance with the mission and curriculum of Mercy Employee Child Care Center. As a Lead Teacher with us, you will use your education and experience in the field to create a classroom learning environment that is loving and developmentally appropriate and meets the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of each individual child.
Our center is growing, and we are looking for a Wobbler or Preschool teacher for our child care center.
Qualifications
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Experience or Education Requirements
Must meet one (1) of the following 8 types of experience requirements:
- Early Childhood Education
- Elementary Education
- Special Education
- Child Psychology
- Family and Child Development
- A current Colorado Level 1 credential
- Two(2) three credit college courses with one course being either Introduction to early Childhood Education (ECE 101) or guidance strategies (ECE 103)
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally).
