Responsibilities
In keeping with the Dignity Health core valuesthe Activities Assistant will be developing opportunities for the Resident to fulfill his needs and abilities.
Qualifications
- Requires high school education current CPR certification 36 hour activity course or community group involvement and a love of the elderly accepting experience of teaching and supervising.
- Understanding of illness and those disabling conditions requiring long-term care.
- Continuously able to concentrate on fine detail with constant interruption and continuously able to attend to task/function for more than 60 minutes at a time.
- Frequently able to understand and relate to the theories behind several related concepts.
- Continuously able to remember multiple tasks assignments given to self and others over long periods of time.
- Continuous use of common office equipment and computer terminals.
