Billing Rep III

Under the supervision of the A/R Billing Supervisor, the A/R Billing Rep III is responsible for providing timely and efficient follow-up with all payer types for all unpaid claims, consistent with the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health Medical Foundation. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 years experience working in healthcare Rev Cycle or a Professional Medical Office
• 1 year experience with IDX Practice management system
• High School Diploma
• Knowledge of physician billing regulations
• Understanding of professional claims and billing procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of computers
• Demonstrated proficiency in email systems, internet and office software applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 years experience working in healthcare Rev Cycle or a Professional Medical Office
• 1 year experience with Cerner EHR
• AA/AS degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
• Strong MS Excel skills to interpret and analyze high volume of data
• Knowledge of Google Suite
