Responsibilities
CHI Minot is looking for a Full Time Cardiovascular Ultrasound Tech to join the team!
$30,000 Sign On Bonus available
Provides technical expertise in Ultrasound procedures in accordance with the mission and philosophy of St. Alexius Medical Center.
What You'll Do:
- Performs appropriate ultrasound procedures and records anatomical, pathological, and/or physiological date for Radiologist’s interpretation
- Assists physician in gathering sonographic data necessary to diagnose a variety of conditions and diseases
- Obtains, reviews, and uses pertinent patient medical history and supporting clinical data to facilitate optimum diagnostic results
- Provides patient education related to medical ultrasound
- Provides patient services in an outpatient setting
- Performs quality assurance checks on equipment, ensuring proper safety standards are met
- Assists in Diagnostic area when possible
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology or school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Licensure: Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Expect the technologist to work towards achieving registered status.
Experience: Preference for one year clinical experience in obstetric, gynecologic, abdomen, neonatal neurologic and small parts sonography.
