Chaplain Residents provide pastoral care to patients families and staff; they also participate in the curriculum of the Clinical Pastoral Education program. This position helps the hospital to fulfill two of its primary missions ‐ patient care and education.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
Baccalaureate degree and a Master of Divinity degree.
Exceptions are made on a case basis.

$17.50 - $23.43 /hour

Description
Chaplain Residents provide pastoral care to patients families and staff; they also participate in the curriculum of the Clinical Pastoral Education program. This position helps the hospital to fulfill two of its primary missions ‐ patient care and education.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
- Supports patients families and staff to ensure that both their personal and spiritual needs are met while in the hospital.
- Provides in‐house on‐call coverage on a 24‐hour 7 day a week basis by responding to all codes deaths and other emergencies.
- Provides leadership for worship services to help ensure that the worship needs of patients families and staff are met.
- Provides sacramental ministry to patients families and staff.
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with members of the hospital staff in order to ensure that the Clinical Pastoral Education program is integrated into the hospital.
- Acts as a liaison for patients staff and community clergy to fulfill the department's public relations commitment.
