In this role, you will lead nursing operations, develop forward-thinking strategies, and ensure the highest quality of care while collaborating with executive leadership to shape the future of healthcare.
- Develop and implement nursing strategies and initiatives.
- Oversee daily nursing operations and patient care services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with other executive leaders to drive organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Manage nursing budgets and resource allocation.
- Lead recruitment, retention, and development of nursing staff.
- Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing or related field.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality metrics, and best practices in California
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience working with California unions
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and operational performance.
- Experience in a large hospital or health system preferred.
