Clinic Patient Services Scheduling Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be supporting the registration and scheduling departments by training new patient registration staff on systems and processes, auditing registration accounts, providing coaching on areas of opportunity, assisting with charge entry and reconciliation, and addressing patient billing inquiries. The coordinator will also collaborate on optimizing provider templates, managing schedules to ensure they are full, and developing efficient registration and scheduling processes.

REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in patient registration, billing, or healthcare administration is required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to train, coach, and mentor staff.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues and develop solutions.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient and employee information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficient in healthcare software systems, scheduling platforms, and Google Workspace.

PREFERRED:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
