Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Under the direction and responsible supervision of a Clinical Lab Scientist the CLS Intern performs moderate and high complexity testing in areas of Blood Bank Chemistry Coagulation Hematology Microbiology Serology and Urinalysis following established laboratory procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year accredited university in Chemistry Biology or a related field which meets the requirements of CA Department of Public Health (CDPH)- Lab Field Services (LFS)
- Approved for Clinical Laboratory Scientist Trainee License (CLS-T:CA) through CDPH-LFS.
