Responsibilities
The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for coordinating clinical pharmacy services and ensuring that the pharmacy provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis. The clinical pharmacist facilitates the
development, implementation, and maintenance of systems or programs that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies.
Qualifications
Required:
- At least 3 years current work experience as a hospital inpatient staff pharmacist demonstrating performance of clinical functions or, successful completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency program
- Graduation from an accredited college of Pharmacy
Doctorate of Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D) or a Master’s degree in a clinical area of pharmacy
Preferred:
- Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
