Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining programs as well as policies and
procedures for marketing and admissions of new residents. The incumbent also establishes and
maintains relationships with competing facilities, medical facilities and community organizations involved in senior adult programs and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, reviews and assists in creating a marketing program including policies and procedures. Maintains an active file for all interested individuals.
- Establishes and maintains an active waiting list; reviews list annually.
- Oversees and/or conducts facility tours.
- Completes prospective resident assessment in preparation for acceptance.
- Reviews Prospective resident files with Administration on a regular basis.
- Develops and submits monthly marketing reports for presentation to the Administrator and Mercy McMahon Board.
- Continually monitors and appraises the marketing program.
- Establishes and maintains relationships within the regional facilities and the surrounding community including participation in various social and community organizations including meetings of area agencies involved in senior adult programs and services.
- Develops, reviews and assists the development of admissions policies and procedures.
- Oversees the application process and admission procedures including through resident orientation and move-in.
- Obtains relevant information about new residents and disseminates to the rest of the team.
- Manages advertising, promotion and sponsorship activities for MMT.
- Sets goals and creates other duties for the advancement of Mercy McMahon Terrace occupancy and relevancy in the region.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Marketing, promotion, public relations 2 years experience required.
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience in lieu of the degree.
- Ability to interact with the population of Mercy McMahon Terrace.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with ALIS or other products specifically related to residential care facility management preferred.
- In depth knowledge of personal computers and various highly used software programs (e.g. Microsoft Office).
