Responsibilities
An amazing opportunity has just opened up for a Director of Nursing Perioperative Services based at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital. This position will oversee Perioperative Services for our 67 bed hospital located in Arroyo Grande. We are looking for an experienced manager, with a strong background in intra-op services. To thrive in this role, you must be competent and confident, with excellent communication skills one-on-one and in front of groups. You will tackle tough conversations, and above all, be an educator at heart. Every interaction is an opportunity to share your knowledge with others and improve their understanding of a patient’s needs and quality of care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (e.g. BSN) or equivalent education and experience and Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (e.g., MSN/MBA/MHA) required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience and two (2) years of leadership experience required.
- Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
