Operates cardiac ultrasound equipment to provide and document accurate and quality studies of normal and abnormal cardiac anatomy. Technologist performs adult cardiac ultrasound exams to include M- Mode 2-D Doppler PW CW Color Flow and TEE's. The technologist will provide professional and quality care while following hospital policies procedures and standards. The echo technologist may perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/director; stress tests and clerical assignments. The technologist will be a liaison between the echo department and physicians/staff/outside facilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Technologist will have a minimum of 1 year experience performing 2-D M-Mode and Color Flow Doppler Echo's on adults.
• Technologist will have graduated from nationally recognized Cardiac Echo ultrasound program. Obtain and maintain in good standing credentialing from 1). ARDMS or 2). CCI See required licensure below
• Must obtain registry status within one year of employment with ARDMS or CCI to include one of the following RCS RDCS RDMS or equivalent. Individuals with 18 months of experience or more must obtain appropriate credential within six (6) months. BLS Required.
