CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs is currently seeking a Board Certified Family Medicine physician for a Residency Directorship for our developing Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residency Programs that will begin training residents in 2021.
With more than 300 licensed beds, CHI St. Vincent Hospital Hot Springs is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization serving the health care needs of Hot Springs, Ark., and surrounding communities. We also have a Level 2 Trauma Center designation and serve not only the Hot Springs area, but also the entire Southwest Arkansas region.
Requirements:
Current Arkansas State Medical License
Have clinical and educational experience, which includes five years clinical experience in family medicine, with two years as a core faculty member in an ACGME or American Osteopathic Association-accredited family medicine program.
Dedicate no less than 28 hours per week to administrative and educational activities of the Family medicine program....
Maintain clinical skills by providing direct patient care....
Responsibilities:
Leadership, development, operation, administration, and accountability of the Program.
Development and execution of the overall strategy for the program
Monitor the duties of the residents ensuring that the needs of the residents are met.
Implement Policies and Procedures consistent with program and hospital requirements and ensure that residents, students and faculty are aware of and embrace those Policies and Procedures.
Administer and maintain an education environment conducive to educating resident in each of the competency areas of the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education.
