Responsibilities
Collects maintains and makes available to authorized users timely accurate secure and complete patient health information in an electronic environment. Controls the release of medical information from electronic patient medical records in accordance with the state’s rules and regulations and HIPAA.
Qualifications
Minimum
- High School Diploma/GED
- One year of medical office experience or currently enrolled in HIM equivalent study course
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Google Workspace
Preferred
- Health Information Management (HIM) work environment Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Cerner experience
