Responsibilities
The Supervisor of Environmental Services for a hospital overseas the daily operations by leading and managing the day-to-day operations of environmental services employees.This role involves overseeing a variety of tasks related to cleanliness, sanitation, waste management, and ensuring a safe and healthy environment. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.
- Regularly inspects completed work and completes Quality Management reports as directed.
- Assists in the development of Duty Lists which will ensure efficient, cost-effective completion of cleaning.
- Assures that a mechanism is in place to monitor and measure the competency of staff on an annual basis and during orientation of new staff.
- Oversees policies and procedures and assures they are followed by staff
- Assists in the Department Specific Orientation development and motivation of Lead staff ensuring the staff is properly trained. Attends meetings as required and participates on committees as directed.
- Evaluates, defines and maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Responsible for all aspects of department including Equipment, QC, QA, Healthstream and Competecies.
- Ensures and sets standard of quality of work in conjunction with all Regulatory Agencies.
- Coordinates activities with other departments ensuring meeting room set ups are completed accurately in a timely manner.
- Ensures that all equipment is clean and in proper working condition.
- Establishes and maintains communication within the department and with other departments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications
Minimum:
- Five (5) years of experience within the Environmental Services field.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Preferred:
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience, preferably in Healthcare related Environmental Services.
- Bachelor's Degree
Salary : $18,000
