What are the responsibilities and job description for the Informaticist Nurse position at CommonSpirit Health?
As our Informatics RN at St. Vincent, you will help patient care staff and leadership implement and maintain clinical IT systems to enhance patient care and streamline operations.
Every day you will collaborate with clinical teams and IT to ensure effective use of technology in patient care. You will be expected to manage projects, provide leadership in clinical informatics, and ensure system upgrades and maintenance are aligned with nursing best practices.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in nursing informatics, project management, and a deep understanding of clinical documentation and IT systems.

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in planning, designing, and maintaining clinical IT systems
- Manage clinical system projects and lead teams in improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system consistency with nursing standards
- Monitor project timelines, resources, and submit status reports
- Lead education and training for clinical staff on IT systems
Qualifications
- BSN required
- 5 years of acute care clinical nursing experience preferred
- Previous experience with Cerner or other clinical information systems
- Active RN license in good standing with the State of Arkansas
- BLS through the American Heart Association is required
