*Responsibilities*
*Job Summary / Purpose* Responsible for the overall functioning, planning*, *controlling*, *organizing*, and *directing the day-to-day operations and activities of the oncology front office*. *
*Essential Key Job Responsibilities*
- Responsibilities include answer the phones, address any issues/concerns, schedule patient appointments (office visits, labs, radiology, referrals, etc.) and check out patients when needed.
- Prepare Daily Charts for Physician.
- Review, enter and schedule all new patient referrals and hospital F/U’s.
- Obtain medical records for new patients and established patients from outside facilities.
- Assist Physician with Cleveland Clinic Peer to peer reviews, tumor board activities and schedule and send case list to Tumor Registrars.
- Adjust schedule to accommodate physician (vacation, meetings, etc.)
- Order all documents for office through Ricoh Document Service Center.
- Order office supplies.
- Scan and attach medical record documents.
- Pull faxes and distribute to proper personnel.
- Assist HIM with any documents/approvals/orders needed for billing coders
- Assists Nursing Manager in educational and training activities.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
