Responsibilities
$10,000 Sign-on Bonus
Up to $10,000 Education Assistance Available
As a Pre/Post Recovery RN at CHI Health Immanuel, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients before and after surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assessing patients' pre-operative status and preparing them for surgery.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs, pain levels, and overall condition post-operatively.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educating patients and their families on post-operative care instructions.
- Collaborating with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
- Contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Specialty certification (ex: CCRN CNOR CEN) preferred
- Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas
