Dignity Health St. Joseph's Medical Center in partnership with Touro University Medical Group is recruiting a Program Director for one of the newest ACGME Accredited Neurology residency program in California, which started in Academic Year 2022-2023. As part of succession planning, the new PD will have the opportunity to lead our GME program into the future.

About the opportunity :
New neurology program has joined 9 existing residency programs accredited by Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
- 355 Bed Acute Care Hospital
- State of the Art Educational Training Facility including simulation labs and smart classrooms
- 75-90% Clinical activity including Teaching residents and medical students / 10-35% Protected Time.
- Aspirations for establishing a Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Expanding epilepsy services including Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
- Active in-patient consultation and ward service
- Opportunities for both in-patient and / or outpatient clinical work
- Opportunities for clinical neurophysiology (EEG, EMG, Nerve Conduction Studies, Evoked Potentials)
- Opportunities for scholarly activity In accordance with ACGME requirements
- Clinical Faculty Track at Touro University, California with Rank and Promotion in accordance with faculty policy.
