Responsibilities
$1,000 Sign-On Bonus offered for qualified new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible.
Position Summary:
Coordinates all Insurance authorizations referrals/TARS for all of the Family Medical Centers.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years related experience and/or training or equivilent clerical experience Knowledge of insurance compaies and authorizations.
- Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with other department leaders written and verbal.
- Must be an experienced typist Capable of making independent decisions
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects or tasks at one time.
- High level of concentration and attention to detail Ability to work independently.
Preferred:
- High School graduate or GED
- Strong customer service focus. Organized and able to manage competing priorities
- Ability to handle a high volume of patient information.
- Knowledge of ICD-9(ICD-10) and CPT codes for the purpose of authorizations
- Knowledge of insurance plans and their rules.
- Resourcefulness in problem solving.
