Responsibilities
Barrow Neurological Institute, Clinical Research Organization is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant to support the equipment management of our ALS Research Clinical Outcome Measurements Training Program. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in clinical research while contributing to groundbreaking ALS studies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage clinical equipment inventory for ALS clinical trials, including spirometry and muscle strength hand held dynamometry equipment.
• Manage the packing and shipment of equipment to clinical sites worldwide, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Track and manage equipment usage and maintenance records, maintaining compliance with ICH/GCP guidelines.
• Perform quality management tasks to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Support the outcomes training research coordinator in tracking training certifications and assisting with program logistics.
• Provide general administrative support as requested by program leadership.

Qualifications
Previous experience in a health care setting required.
Previous clinical research experience preferred.
Previous training relating to HIPAA and the use of protected health information required.
Basic computer skills required.
Education
HS diploma and related college or certification course work required.
Associates degree preferred.
