Responsibilities
Speech-language pathologists assess, diagnose, treat, and help with language problems and to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in patients.
ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates competence with clinical skills necessary to provide care appropriately to all the patient groups served by the speech language pathology service
- Provides treatments as included in POC
- Provides instruction in/demonstration of equipment, treatments, disease process, self care and exercises to patients, family, and staff.
- Provides timely and accurate documentation of services provided in the medical record, per policy.
- Communicates with medical, nursing and other Rehab staff
- Staff will strive to provide service to patients or clients by filling our service promise of Kind, Compassionate Care, EveryPerson, Every Time.
- Staff will maintain an awareness of overall safety in regards for all athletes, patients and clients.
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Advanced Degree from Accredited Institution
1-3 years of experience
SLP Licensure in State of MN
