As our Sterile Processing Lead at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary, you will help healthcare providers ensure the availability of sterile instruments and equipment so they can deliver safe and effective care to patients.
Every day, you will oversee and participate in the sterilization and preparation of medical instruments. You will be expected to manage and train staff, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and sterilization protocols.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification and three years of experience in sterile processing, including one year in a lead or charge role.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the sterile processing department.
- Ensure proper sterilization, assembly, and storage of instruments.
- Manage and train staff on protocols and procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot sterilization equipment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST).
- Minimum of three years of experience in a sterile processing department, with at least one year in a lead or charge role.
