The Program Manager of Strategic Initiatives, Brand is a detail-oriented, creatively minded professional with strong project management and brand strategy expertise. This role is integral in supporting the System Director of Identity and Brand Management *i*n advancing CommonSpirit Health’s identity, visibility, and reputation.
In this position, you will lead complex brand initiatives from concept to execution, ensuring cross-functional alignment and seamless project delivery. You will manage critical projects such as national and regional brand transitions, brand experience enhancements, and other strategic initiatives that amplify the organization’s brand presence.
Success in this role requires exceptional project management skills to oversee timelines, budgets, and stakeholder coordination. You will also play a pivotal role in executing brand strategies that align with organizational goals, ensuring all branding efforts reflect our values and resonate across diverse audiences. As a key collaborator, you will engage with internal teams, external agencies, and leadership to uphold and elevate CommonSpirit’s brand integrity across all touchpoints.

Project Management
- Coordinate tasks, manage stakeholders, and oversee agency partners for key CommonSpirit initiatives, including:
- National brand transition planning
- Regional brand and name transitions
- Brand experience initiatives
- Other brand management workstreams as required
- Track and manage actions, issues, and risks across initiatives, ensuring resolution.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure repeatable success in brand project execution.
- Establish and refine best practices for managing multiple branding initiatives simultaneously.
- Support preparation for senior leadership meetings and communications, including crafting high-impact presentations tailored to executive audiences.
- Develop and deliver executive-level presentations that effectively communicate the purpose, progress, and impact of branding initiatives. These presentations should:
- Tell the strategic story behind branding efforts to secure executive buy-in and understanding.
- Highlight the alignment of branding initiatives with organizational goals.
- Foster executive support through clear, compelling, and actionable narratives.
- Utilize excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey the importance of branding initiatives, ensuring they resonate with diverse, cross-functional audiences.
- Develop and implement strategies to align branding efforts with overall business objectives.
- Act as a brand steward, ensuring all internal and external communications reflect the brand’s values, tone, and vision.
- Drive the implementation of brand guidelines across all projects, ensuring consistency in messaging, design, and tone.
- Manage and execute internal brand campaigns to support overall brand goals.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of brand initiatives through KPIs, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for brand-related initiatives, facilitating clear communication among stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, product, and leadership teams to ensure seamless execution of branding efforts.
- Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to deliver high-quality work that supports brand goals.
- Manage relevant brand approval processes and tasks.
- Provide ad hoc support as required for the Brand team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related role, with proven project management expertise.
- Experience working with and managing external agencies to deliver brand and creative solutions.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while prioritizing tasks and deadlines.
- Highly collaborative and skilled at working with diverse teams within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Agile and adaptable, with a mindset for innovation and continuous improvement.
