Responsibilities
Under the oversight of a Certified Vascular Sonographer provides direct patient care performing a variety of vascular and venous interventional ultrasound procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum
- One year of adult vascular ultrasound experience
- Experience in venous intervention and peripheral vascular procedures
- Completion of a vascular program
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
- Eligible to sit for Registered Vascular Sonographer Certification (RVT) within 6 months of Hire
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
Preferred
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cerner strongly preferred
- Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVT) Certification
- Ultrasound experience in Vein Center/Vascular Center
Salary : $18,000
