Responsibilities

Position Summary:

 

Educator develops coordinates and implements education programs and support services to serve the needs of community members.

 

• Provides knowledge that is relevant to coping with illness promoting recovery to healthful living and appropriately involves the consumer in his/her healthcare decisions.

• Ensures customers initial contact with the WomensCare Center is one that fosters a sense of security and confidence.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

 

• Experience teaching and working in the community.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education or related field.

• Ability to work independently set priorities and manage work within timeframes. 

• Read and analyze technical material. 

• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing positive mental attitude.

• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle highly confidential information essential.

• Must be computer literate.
