Job Description

Job Title : Locum Physician

Job Specialty : Gastroenterology

Job Duration : 13 Months

Shift :

24-hour call, 5-7 days per month

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience :

Prior experience performing ERCP and EUS is required

License :

Active medical license in Colorado is highly preferred

Certifications :

Board Certified in Gastroenterology

Must-Have :

Candidates must be able to perform ERCP and EUS.
Completion of required EMR training before starting.
Clean malpractice and background check are mandatory.
Must be available for any call coverage stints detailed below.

Job Description :

Provide gastroenterology services to cover gaps in call coverage.

Evaluate and manage various GI problems, including performing scoping and endoscopy.

Handle ERCP, EUS, and GI bleed cases.

Work in an inpatient, Level 1 Trauma setting.

Participate in virtual EMR training and complete required modules.

Handle call-back responsibilities involving patient contact hours.

Consult service without admission responsibilities, focusing on adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients.

Additional Information :

Work onsite with no support staff available for procedures.

Facility equipped with 24 / 7 intensivists, hospitalists, and trauma services.

Preferred candidates should be local or willing to commute.

Credentialing takes approximately 60-90 days, with an option for expedited processing.

EMR System : EPIC

Notes :

Candidates must provide a self-inquiry NPDB report.

Availability required for specific dates in February, May, and ongoing dates beginning in July.

Interested candidates should detail the number of shifts they can offer monthly starting in July.
