The Wholesale Manager plays a crucial role in our company by combining customer insights with market intelligence, they drive growth and ensure client satisfaction, all while solidifying the company's reputation as a trusted partner in the industry. The Wholesale Manager will engage with clients and prospects, assessing their needs to recommend products or services that deliver exceptional value. With a strong emphasis on building relationships, they will evaluate customer requirements and provide strategic solutions that elevate their experience. Additionally, the Wholesale Manager will take the lead in developing robust sales strategies and setting quotas, positioning the team for success.
Responsibilities:
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of wholesale sales strategies and implement them effectively across the market of Massachusetts.
• Identify potential clients, provide education about our products, assess their needs, and nurture relationships to deliver high-quality sales demonstrations.
• The ability to effectively master the art of solution-based selling, which involves understanding customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and building strong relationships to drive sales success.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from cold calling to closing deals.
• Track performance and sales metrics weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Excel in conducting product demonstrations and attending trade shows, showcasing a blend of professionalism and approachability that truly engages clients.
• Generate sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new business, building relationships, and providing technical information and explanations.
• Address objections and gain a deep understanding of customer needs.
• Make cold calls and confidently engage with new people throughout the day.
• Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities.
• Maintain a database of information about prospective clients.
• Stay informed about general regulatory issues in the cannabis industry and know who to contact for specific compliance inquiries.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events, as needed by the business.

Qualifications:
• 2 years of cannabis wholesale sales experience.
• Physically located (has residence) within the Massachusetts market.
• Existing relationships with cannabis MSOs within the Massachusetts market is highly desirable.
• Superior customer service skills. A success manager must be service-oriented, customer-centric, and results-driven, maintaining a positive outlook.
• Experience working with marketing and cannabis operations (i.e., cultivation, processing, packaging, etc.)
• A quick learner with strong negotiating skills and the ability to effectively showcase our offerings.
• Adaptive and able to deal with ambiguity while focusing on the specific task at hand.
• Strong listening and persuasion skills.
• High Emotional intelligence (EQ).
• Time management skills.
• Strong team-orientation.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
• Frequently required to sit or stand at a computer for long periods.
• This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
• Requires limited overnight and out-of-area travel.
• This position is remote.
