Job Summary:
As a Store Employee at GFG, you will be an essential part of our team,
ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience by delivering
excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, and
efficiently handling transactions. Your responsibilities will include assisting
customers, stocking shelves, managing inventory, and operating the cash
register, among other duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
o Greet customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
o Assist customers in locating products and answering questions
about merchandise.
o Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
Stocking and Merchandising:
o Replenish stock on shelves and ensure displays are clean,
organized, and properly labeled.
o Assist in receiving deliveries and verifying the accuracy of
shipments.
o Rotate products as necessary and check for expiration dates to
maintain product quality.
Store Maintenance:
o Keep the store environment clean and organized by performing
regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and
organizing shelves.
o Ensure that the aisles are free of hazards and that all products
are neatly arranged.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
o Work as part of a team to ensure the store operates smoothly
and meets daily operational goals.
o Assist fellow employees with tasks and support management as
needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Moderate lifting or moving up to 30 pounds.
Manual dexterity to operate a cash register and handle items.
