As part of CBA’s Institutional Banking & Markets (IB&M) division, our Quants, Data, Analytics & Technology (QDAT) business brings together a diverse team of professionals across our functions: Quantitative Solutions, IB&M Strategy, Digital Customer Crew, Data and Platforms Crew, Digital Analytics and AI COE and the Quantitative Solutions COE as well as CBA’s joint venture with Quantium - Commbank IQ.
The purpose of IB&M's Quants, Data, Analytics and Technology team is to power, transform, and grow IB&M. Their ambition is to have the best insights at their fingertips, the best client experience, and deliver through excellent execution. QDAT combines specialized technical expertise with a deep understanding of business dynamics and client needs, driving specialized and strategic solutions to deliver value to IB&M and its customers.
What you will do:
As a Product Delivery Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for defining and refining the customer proposition through Voice of Customer (VoC), market research, and industry analysis. You will drive customer and business outcomes, ensure adherence to regulatory obligations, deliver financial outcomes, and support distribution and operations. This role involves managing the product lifecycle and connecting customer outcomes to business objectives. Additionally, as a Chapter Lead, you will work with chapter members to identify goals, create individual development plans, and provide ongoing feedback and learning opportunities to maximize their development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop compelling and sustainable customer propositions
- Conduct market research and industry analysis to inform product strategy
- Drive customer and business outcomes through effective product management
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Squad Members, Crew Leads, and Chapter Area Leads to achieve business goals.
- Set goals and development plans for chapter members.
- Identify and enable opportunities for chapter members to practice and improve their skills.
- Provide ongoing feedback and learning opportunities to enhance chapter members' performance.

What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in a financial services environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
- expertise in design thinking methodologies applied to product, proposition, service and digital experiences. We are looking for different T-shaped practitioners and leaders, so if you have deep skills in any one design discipline and are well-versed in the others, we’d love to hear from you.
- Strong skills in systems thinking, prototyping, and storytelling to bring ideas to life.
- Applies a front-to-back lens to value streams to articulate what needs to change for customers, processes across the bank and technology environment.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and define problem spaces with clarity and insight.
- A track record of leading cross-functional collaboration to shape strategy and innovation
- Proficiency in Figma, with an ability to prototype at varying levels of fidelity.
- Passion for designing inclusive, accessible, and customer-centric solutions that create positive outcomes.
- Salesforce experience (ideally Financial Services Cloud).
- Strong business analysis or process improvement experience.
- Software and solution delivery lifecycle experience.
- CRM experience.
- Working experience in Agile and Scaled Agile delivery frameworks.
- Proficiency in performing system and technical analyses on software programs, applications, and web services.
- Understanding of BABOK® Knowledge Areas.
- Experience working on network technology projects and within a large and complex organization.
- Relevant IT or business tertiary qualifications.
- Recognized industry certifications.
