The Cyber Community and Education team builds internal and external cyber resilience by understanding human behaviour, patterns, and risks, and translating this into educational frameworks, training, and interventions to help protect us from cyber threats.
We manage cyber training to foster a strong cyber culture. We work across the industry to enhance cyber awareness in our group and communities. Our outreach team provide targeted cyber education to our customers.
Your impact and contribution
The Cyber Security Training & Awareness Manager is responsible for developing and executing group-wide strategic security awareness initiatives aimed at improving cyber security culture and behavioural practices within the Group.
A key part of your role will be supporting our existing group-wide initiatives to enhance their continuous improvement utilising automation and AI where applicable. You will also be involved in the development and execution of role and team-based training at both CBA and Bankwest.
Key responsibilities of this role may require you to:
- Use insights gathered from our programs to develop targeted behavioural interventions
- Analyse results to ascertain impact and make improvements
- Uplift phishing simulation program for Bankwest and CBA, including managing and reporting to internal stakeholders.
- Work with technical and non-technical team members to create, publish, and promote security awareness content to be shared with staff.
- Work autonomously to meet deadlines with support from Group to implement key elements of the Information Security and Awareness Control.
- Develop and present engaging content to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Have a curious mindset and a desire for ways to do things better. Experience working within the cyber industry or a demonstrable understanding of current cyber threats is required. You will be able to contribute creativity and innovative ideas to help manage human cyber risk.
