As part of the Bank’s Risk Management division, Credit Portfolio Assurance (CPA) provides independent assurance of credit risks within CBA’s Non-Retail Portfolio. This includes a range of portfolio and thematic reviews executed across CBA to support credit quality and continuous improvement of processes, systems and people.
Do work that matters
This role will see you leading a team with accountability for identifying and delivering high quality reviews across the CBA Non-Retail portfolio, with a particular focus on Business Banking (BB). You will be working closely with Line 1 and Line 2 Management and presenting outcomes to CBA Senior Management through relevant Risk Committees.
Your primary responsibilities, but not limited to, are;
- Developing and executing on CPA’s annual plan, including leading and project managing CPA reviews with a focus on BB.
- Role as primary contact for key senior stakeholders across Line 1 and 2 BB teams, including coordination of review activities, presentation of review findings and sharing of insights to relevant BU Risk Committees.
- Leading a CPA review team of Senior Manager/s and Manager/s, including ongoing quality review, coaching and development.
- Working closely with the CPA and Hindsight Leadership Team (LT) to drive and execute on team strategic priorities, including an increased focus on data and analytics.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
- Deep credit experience across Commercial, Corporate and/or Institutional Banking segments (including Line 1 and/or Line 2 roles).
- Strong leadership and project management skills, including ability to lead a team to deliver high quality review outcomes based on agreed timeframes.
- Ability to build rapport with key senior stakeholders, including influencing and presenting outcomes to leadership and relevant governance committees.
- A passion for continuous improvement, with a proven track record in leading and/or delivering strategic change initiatives.
