Business Banking (BB) is one of the three client facing business groups within the Commonwealth Bank and provides support to the Group’s Commercial and Business clients.
Our Business Banking Risk Management (BBRM) team provides insightful risk leadership, excellent engagement and a solution-focused approach.
The WA Business Banking Risk Team is a decisioning team that decisions loan applications for customers with total commercial credit facilities of between $5m and $15m (plus related consumer facilities) of all industries and complexity and engages primarily with the Business and Commercial Banking teams their customers.
Your role as Risk Executive is to provide all aspects of credit services including advisory, credit decisions and recommendation of applications beyond approval levels, annual reviews, and non-monetary credit decisions.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
- Experience in a credit risk position, including exercising a delegation, with a proven ability to provide sound, commercial and consistent risk decisions that are in the customers’ best interest.
- Ability to work autonomously with absolute integrity.
- Strong proven communication, stakeholder management and negotiating skills.
- Driver of a positive, professional, and engaging workplace.
- Graduate or postgraduate degrees in Business, Finance or related field.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g. Finsia, CPA) or studying towards completion.
