The Group Financial Reporting & Analysis (FR&A) team provides financial support to the CEO, CFO, Executive Leadership Team and Board. The team’s areas of focus include:
- Performance reporting – performance analysis and monthly management reporting
- Planning and forecasting – ownership of the Group’s Planning & Forecasting process, strategic and ad-hoc analysis
- Decision support – strategic projects, insight development and ad-hoc analysis
- Investment Reporting and Analysis – reporting and analysis on the Groups internal change portfolio
This role reports directly to the Executive Manager, Decision Support. The purpose of the role is to help drive the strategic agenda for FR&A.
Some of the key areas you will be providing support include:
- Delivering value-adding, insightful reporting and analysis to the Board, Group CEO, Group CFO, Head of Group Finance and the Executive Committee relating to the strategic direction and performance of the Group
- Critical insights and value-adding ad-hoc analysis on CBA’s current and future performance
- Peer benchmarking analysis of CBA against their peers every 6 months
- Advice on strategic investments and M&A transactions (including valuation support)
- Other decision support activities
- Assist with delivery of six-monthly results for the Profit announcement
- Help drive productivity improvements across our key Group processes

- Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysis
- Understanding drivers of equity valuation
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
- Innovative and able to drive results
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills
- Tableau and Alteryx skills preferable
- Investment transactions experience preferable
