We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Platform Engineer to take ownership of the maintenance, enhancement, and reliability of one of our most critical application platforms. This is an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the performance, scalability, and security of a platform that is essential in delivering great outcomes for our customers and communities.

As a Staff Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the cloud-based infrastructure supporting our mission-critical application. You will work closely with software engineering, SRE, and DevOps teams to implement automation, improve observability, and optimise deployment pipelines. In summary, in this role, you may expect to:
Maintain, enhance, and optimise a mission-critical application platform hosted on AWS.
Implement and advocate for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Design and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to support seamless and efficient software deployments.
Automate platform operations using PowerShell, YAML, and other scripting languages.
Continuously improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response mechanisms.
Collaborate with software development and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth platform operations.
Identify and implement automation opportunities to eliminate manual and repetitive tasks.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and cloud best practices.
We’re interested in hearing from people who possess the following:
Experience in Backend tech - .Net Core, C#, ASP.NET
Experienced in frontend tech – Reactjs
Expertise with Microservices, Restful API design pattern
DevOps and CI/CD – TeamCity, GitHub Copilot
AWS Cloud – EC2, SNS, S3, Lambda, Certification is a must
DevOps and CI/CD – TeamCity, GitHub Copilot, Octopus
AI & Machine learning and LLM knowledge is desired
Experience in Redux, Kafka, Banking domain is desired
Windows, powershell and IIS
Deep understanding of SRE principles - Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Observe, App Dynamics
