Staff Software Engineer - Java/AWS

• Driving integration for key global market systems, playing a critical part in a large portfolio of greenfield work while applying your leadership skills to mentor & coach junior members in the team.

Institutional Banking and Markets (IB&M) is responsible for managing the Group’s relationships with major corporate and government clients and institutional investors, and provides a full range of capital raising, transactional and risk management products and services.

Technical Skills

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We do not expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team

Required

• Java, Python, Springboot

• AWS deployment in CloudFormation or CDK

• Messaging: Kafka, MQ

• Database and transactional knowledge

Nice to have

• Serverless services on AWS

• Load balancing experience

• JSON/REST implementation

• API Gateway

• Kotlin
