What are the responsibilities and job description for the Note Officer position at Commonwealth Business B?
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position handles commercial/personal real estate and SBA general loan operation.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Loan Documents generation, funding and boarding
• Handle general loan servicing for SBA 7a loans
• Monitor tickler report and UCC continuation
• Process daily payment and charge back
• Process loan advance
• Process late charge waiver
• Process address & phone number change request
• Process payment type change request
• Prepare demand and payoff
• Handle SBA loan sale settlement
• Balances participation payment holdover G/L
• Submits participation payment
• Review monthly department invoices and submit to A/P
• Complies fully with all Bank policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Code of Conduct, and etc.)
• Must complete all required training
SKILLS / QUALIFICATION
• Substantial knowledge of loan operation, servicing, trade finance operation and documentation
• Expertise in LaserPro, SBA SOP and bank loan policy and procedure
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in lending or loan operations
