What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Supervisor position at Commonwealth Clinical & Consulting Services (CCCS)?
Commonwealth Clinical & Consulting Services (CCCS) provides Mental Health Skill Building Services, Intensive In-Home Services, Mobile Crisis Response, and Community Stabilization Services to individuals with mental health and behavioral needs.
We are seeking at least 2 candidates for a Clinical Supervisor position that will oversee our QMHPs. The clinician(s) will complete comprehensive assessments, Preliminary ISPs, Morse Fall Assessments, service authorizations, review reports submitted by QMHPs, and collaborate with staff and clients throughout the client's participation in services to ensure continuity of care and proper linkage to step-down services. The clinician(s) will provide individual supervision to staff. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Google Drive highly preferred. This position can be completed remotely to accommodate our Richmond and Hampton Roads areas. It is imperative that the candidate is fully knowledgeable of Medicaid and DBHDS regulations as we follow all regulatory guidelines.
Position responsibilities include:
o Manages up to 5 counselors
o Assists staff as needed via phone and email for clinical support
o Remains available 24 hours daily to assist with crisis intervention
o Provides oversight, supervision, and education to staff
o Ensures staff completes all supervision documentation according to DBHDS and Magellan regulations in a timely manner
o Assists the Program Director in assigning cases and approving discharges
o Assists the Program Director in appraising staff performance, recommending and implementing disciplinary/corrective action as necessary
Minimum Qualifications: A licensed eligible individual with at least two (2) years of clinical work experience with adults in a human services field. Experience completing assessments, supervising QMHP-A, QMHP-C and QMHP-T staff.
During covid-19 flexibilities, we are allowing clinicians to work remotely with staff and clients.
Training's/Certifications: CPR/FIRST AID, Behavior Management (TOVA)
Salary: Paid by an hourly rate (negotiable)
