Our Business Development Representative Senior is a self-motivated and goal-driven individual who represents the credit union with our Business Partner groups and within the communities we serve. This individual promotes membership with participating Business Partners, strategically solicits non-participating groups on an ongoing basis, communicates with Business Partners on products and services, provides ideas on business development projects, and devotes time and resources to community and networking activities on behalf of Commonwealth Credit Union.
The duties and responsibilities of a Business Development Representative Senior include, but are not limited to:
This position is active in nature. It requires the lifting and/or carrying of materials, displays, and other objects (no more than 30 lbs.). Work locations will vary between an office setting and off-site events, which could be located outdoors. A certain degree of walking, standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling will be necessary, especially during Business Development events. Operating credit union vehicles is a requirement of this role. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Availability to work at events scheduled for after hours and on weekends is a requirement of this role.

The duties and responsibilities of a Business Development Representative Senior include, but are not limited to:
- Effectively planning, developing, and implementing business relations activities in the highest of standards to promote and increase awareness of the credit union brand.
- Actively prospecting new Business Partners according to business development strategic plan and meeting sales goals set for each target market.
- Actively participating in local chambers of commerce and other networking groups to build strategic relationships within the community.
- Maintaining strong relationships with branch managers and other key team members to establish and achieve credit union goals and objectives.
- Researching and coordinating community programs and/or activities to favorably position the credit union in the community, as directed by strategic drivers.
- Researching the demographics of Business Partners and markets to better promote our products and services.
- Effectively preparing all equipment/materials needed for Business Partner visits and events and ensuring all materials are up to date.
- Coordinating, researching, and participating in Financial Literacy presentations, events, and programs within the communities we serve.
