Description
Commonwealth Electric Company of the Midwest is looking for an Estimator to join our fun and growing team. Our team is committed to excellence through assisting our electrical teams with bid estimates for potential work company wide. While the work can be tedious at times, our team always finds a way to have fun and work together to complete the project.
The individual in this role will be successful if they exhibit attention to detail, love a teamwork culture, are able to communicate effectively, enjoy learning, and like to have fun at work. Below is an outline of some of the daily functions this individual would be responsible for:
- Attend meetings to understand the scope of the work/project.
- Determine the amount, type, cost of materials, and labor needed for each electrical project.
- Communicate clearly to the project manager the suggested bid for the work/project.
Education and Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 2-5 years working as an electrical estimator, low voltage experience helpful
