Position Summary: The Security Project Manager will exercise considerable independent judgment to select proper courses of action on all aspects of their projects. Responsibilities include overseeing others, working with manufacturers and vendors, and taking responsibility for making necessary adjustments throughout the project to ensure a satisfactory outcome for both the company and the customer. This position requires extensive knowledge of the security industry standards, methods, and procedures as well as a basic understanding of information technology systems and standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit reports as required
- Provide project management and oversight for system development on all system integration projects, which includes:
- Effectively plan and coordinate projects, including staffing requirements
- Organize and maintain all correspondence about project(s) and effectively relays all information to his/her project team, customers and CECM management staff
- Consistently communicates project status to our customers and ensures that our project team is consistently meeting or exceeding our client’s expectations
- Exercise financial stewardship on all projects
- Ability to make sound decisions that benefit the progression of the project
- Exemplify, promote and foster our purpose of Committed to Excellence through our Core Values of Customers, Employees, Character and Mastery
- All other duties as assigned and required
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive background in Access Control, IP Video surveillance, Intrusion detection and Intercom systems
- Strong customer service & support skills
- Strong organizational skills are required
- All applicants must have access control and IP camera experience, preferably familiarity with the following manufacturers: Lenel, S2, Avigilon, Axis, HID or similar.
- Ability to design systems as requested
- Skillset to estimate security projects accurately and efficiently
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management with a minimum of five years work experience in the special systems field
