Territory Sales Representative

We are seeking a self-motivated and driven Territory Sales Representative to join our dynamic team of high performing sales representatives covering our South-Central Pennsylvania territory.
Job Summary:
The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales, rentals and building relationships with an assigned geographic territory. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and representing our brands to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Achieve sales targets by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Territory Planning: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the territory, including identifying key prospects, setting objectives, and planning sales activities.
- Customer Visits: Regular visits to customers to present products/services, address inquiries, and provide support.
- Market Research: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies and stay competitive.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies and stay competitive.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Training & Development: Stay up to date on product knowledge, industry developments, and sales techniques to effectively sell and support products/services.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the heavy construction equipment industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Skills:
· Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
· Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
· Ability to build and maintain relationships.
· Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
· Proficient in CRM software and other sales software
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
