Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Financial Planning Paraplanner within our Design Center to join our fast-paced growing financial services firm in our flagship Boston office within the Financial District. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, proactive individual to work closely with Financial Planners, providing support on case design and financial planning recommendations as well as implementation. The ideal candidate will have analytical skills and attention to detail to produce high quality work while also motivated by influencing the outcome of the financial planning engagement. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to grow professionally while contributing meaningfully to our Advisor’s practice and clientele.
Key areas of responsibility
- Verification of clients financial information in planning software
- Collaborate with Advisors to create recommendations based on client’s goals and objectives
- Generate outputs for prospective and existing clients
- Illustrate products and proposals through on-line systems
- Manage timelines for output delivery
- Support Advisors in the annual financial planning renewal process
- Collaborate with other analysts to serve as back up support when needed
- Help train new Analysts and Advisors on the process
- Diligently and in real-time communicate case status in Salesforce
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
- Special Projects and other job duties as necessary
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong understanding of financial concepts
- Experience with eMoney or other financial planning software
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills as well as attention to detail
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with a positive and professional attitude
- Strong sense of customer service
- FINRA Series 7, 66 as well as Life and Health Insurance Licenses
