The Kentucky Public Service Commission regulates the intrastate rates and services of more than 1,100 investor-owned electric, natural gas, telephone, water and sewage utilities, customer-owned electric and telephone cooperatives, water districts and associations, and certain aspects of gas pipelines. Our mission is to foster the provision of safe and reliable service at a reasonable price to the customers of jurisdictional utilities while providing for the financial stability of those utilities by setting fair and just rates.
The Executive Administrative Secretary position is responsible for providing professional assistance and support to the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director of the Public Service Commission (PSC), in developing, implementing, and maintaining various complex programs, projects and activities. The chosen candidate should be reliable, detail-oriented team player with a pleasant and helpful attitude who has excellent communication and telephone skills with the knowledge, skills, and ability to schedule meetings both in-person and virtual, arranges schedules, multi-task, and work well under pressure. Candidate should have advance knowledge, skills and ability using Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Serves as liaison for the Executive Director’s Office
- Executive level administrative work and responsibilities
- Formats, edits, and prepares legal orders and documents created by the General Counsel, Office of General Counsel managers and staff attorneys.
- Assists in the preparation and proofing of correspondences, memos, and reports
- Serves as liaison for the Executive Director’s Office for completing travel and training request
- Schedules hearings and meetings, coordinates meetings schedules with other administrative staff
- Screens incoming calls to the Executive Director’s Office
- Assists in the preparation of various tracking reports
- Coordinates the collection and distribution of materials for meetings and hearings
- Performs other duties as required
- Advance knowledge, skills and abilities using MS Office WORD, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
