The Facilities Division is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance & Operations Supervisor that supervises employees and performs work in the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems.
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
EDUCATION: High school graduate.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have five years of experience in the maintenance and/or repair of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation equipment or electrical systems.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Formal training in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Experience in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the education on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be 18 years of age.
Working Conditions
May be required to take care of emergency repairs twenty-four hours a day.

- Supervise crews in performing preventative maintenance on and in the operation of HVAC, refrigeration and associated equipment.
- Supervise and perform maintenance on electrical systems and associated equipment.
- Supervise and perform maintenance on plumbing systems and associated equipment.
- Supervise carpentry repairs and projects to ensure repairs and/or alterations meets state, local and/or agency standard.
- Ensure all safety regulations, equipment and practices are observed and used in all maintenance operations.
- Supervise employees to include the approval of leave requests, timesheets and conducts performance appraisals.
- Consult with engineering personnel and contractors concerning installation and repair of equipment and how to interpret blueprints and specifications.

Salary : $41,952 - $62,928
