General Butler State Resort Park, located in Carrollton, KY, provides all the peace and tranquility of the country while only minutes from the city. General Butler offers guests a 53-room lodge, 23 cottages, 111-site campground, a full-service restaurant, mini golf, boat dock, shelters, trails, the historic Butler-Turpin House, a conference center, and playgrounds.

EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have two years hospitality, tourism, sales, meeting planning, business or administrative experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Hospitality, tourism, sales, meeting planning, business or administrative experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be 20 years and one day of age at time of employment. Applicants for employment with the Kentucky State Resort Parks must obtain S.T.A.R. (Server Training in Alcohol Regulations) certification from the Kentucky Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control within six months of employment. Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification. Employing agency is responsible for ensuring employee possesses and maintains required licensure(s), certification(s) or other credentials.
Working Conditions
Work is typically performed in an office setting. Travel will be required to conduct outside sales calls.

- Perform sales calls to government, military, associations, corporations and other meeting markets, outgoing prospecting calls and incoming sales inquiries to solicit new business.
- Liaise with potential clients to understand their group booking requirements and preferences.
- Prepare and present customized proposals and quotes tailored to the needs of each client.
- Coordinate group bookings and reservations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional customer service throughout the booking process.
